Stay:
For those visiting the area, Ockendon Manor is fine choice. The hotel is grade II listed and dates back to the Elizabethan era of 1520 so there is plenty of history here. The restaurant has twice been awarded Michellan stars and has been awarded AA Rosette on multiple occasions.

Did you know:
In 1822 the first know Iguanodon fossils were found by Mary Anne Mantell, wife of Gideon Mantell close to Cuckfield at Whitemans Green. You will now find a monument to him standing on the site.
